Conflict Sensitivity Training (CST1)

The Women’s Programs Association conducted a three-day training on “Conflict Sensitivity”, from 11 till 13 December 2023, aimed at enhancing the understanding of the Head Office and Centers’ teams of conflict-sensitive approaches and how humanitarian and development interventions can influence local dynamics positively or negatively.Participants engaged in a variety of interactive sessions covering foundational principles such as the Do No Harm approach, analysis of conflict drivers, connectors and dividers, stakeholder mapping, and understanding context through community mapping and real-life case studies from their fieldwork. The training is the first step towards sensitizing WPA to become “conflict sensitive” in its approach to interventions in the community.
