ENGAGE THE PALESTINIAN REFUGEE COMMUNITY IN LEBANON TO IMPROVE THEIR PROTECTION AND REDUCE AND RESPOND TO SGBV

The primary objective of this project is to promote practices within the Palestinian Refugee Community in Lebanon that effectively reduce vulnerability and enhance resilience in preventing and responding to gender-based violence (GBV).

  • Target: 500 men and women reach for mobile theatre

Location: Burj El Barajneh and Ein El Hilweh centers.

  • Target: 200 women for individual and group PSS activities

Location: Burj El Barajneh, Wavel, Beddawi, Nahr El Bared, Ein El Hilweh, Burj El Shemali, Rashidieh and El Buss centers.

Outcomes

  • 540 males and females were reached through mobile theater.
  • 75% of the male audience reported that the play had an impact on their views and attitude towards masculinity.
  • 260 community members were reached through individual and group PSS activities.
